George Hamilton, President
George Hamilton has headed the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) since the nonprofit organization was created in 1991. From 1989 to 1991, Hamilton was planning director for the State of Vermont, and chief policy advisor to Governor Madeleine M. Kunin. He also served as chair of Governor's Development Cabinet. From 1982 to 1985, he was a policy analyst in the Vermont Governor's office, specializing in energy, environment and telecommunications issues.
Zhang Ye, Country Representative
Zhang Ye is the Institute for Sustainable Communities' Country Representative in China, She has a Master's of Public Administration for Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and has a diploma in American Studies from Smith College. Ms. Zhang served as Community Affairs Director for Microsoft China and country director for The Asia Foundation.
