招聘专职/兼职EHS培训师
EHS中心定于2009年8月20-21日与霍尼韦尔亚太区EHS共同举办第二批培训师研修班（免费），该研修班的重点为：
1）如何推行有效的EHS体系管理，
2）工业卫生及最佳管理案例。经过培训、考核和专家评选，本届学员中合格的优秀人才将成为EHS中心的专职或兼职培训师。
为了顺应环境、安全与健康（EHS）的专业性培训需求，总部设在美国的可持续发展社区协会（ISC）与中山大学岭南（大学）学院联合成立了“中国企业环保、卫生和安全管理研究与发展中心”（EHS中心）。该中心与相关合作伙伴正在开发一系列经济实用的继续教育项目，旨在为企业环境、安全与健康部门的管理人员提供必要的技能培训，以便促使其所在机构发生内部系统性的转变，进而使整个区域在环境保护、安全生产、职业健康等方面的能力全面提升并处于领先地位。
EHS中心将为学员提供高质量的培训及认证课程，通过参加这些课程的学习，企业的环境、安全与健康管理人员可以得到职业经理人证书，增强专业知识和水平，提高沟通与领导技能，并学习国际大公司在相关领域的操作实例和经验。
我们期望该EHS中心在今后三年内成为依托于中山大学并能自主经营的本地机构。EHS中心每年预计将接受1800名学员参加培训，其中每年约360人将获得专业证书。此外，EHS中心将聘请一批具有优秀资质的中国培训师任教，并适时调整培训中心的课程设置，以便适应广东省及全国工业发展变化的需要，使其最终成为能向其他省份复制的成功模式。
师资班培训方式：
本项目为非赢利组织ISC在华推广项目，培训师的培训费用将由ISC资助。有关信息所述：
1、培训安排：2009年8月20-21日（全天）；
2、培训地点：中山大学；
3、培训学员的其它费用（如交通、食宿、教材资料费等）自理；
4、EHS中心将尽力为学员提供便利条件。
关于ISC

EHS Academy Offers Advanced 2-Day Seminar on
International Best Practices in Environment, Health, and
Safety (EHS) to Management Trainers
From August 20 to 21, 2009, the Lingnan-ISC Environment, Health and Safety Academy for Chinese Enterprises (EHS Academy) at Zhongshan University will offer an advanced seminar in international best practices to 30 experienced management trainers. Leading Chinese EHS experts and business professionals from Honeywell lead this immersive course in cutting edge EHS practices and methodologies, with an emphasis on approaches to training others in these topics. Tuition costs for seminar participants will be covered by the EHS Academy. At the end of the seminar, qualified participants may be offered competitive positions as full-time or part-time trainers for the EHS Academy on an ongoing basis.
EHS Academy Overview
In response to increasing demand for professional environment, health, and safety training opportunities in China, the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and Lingnan (University) College at Zhongshan University have jointly established the Lingnan-ISC Environment, Health and Safety Academy for Chinese Enterprises. The EHS Academy and its partners are developing a source of affordable continuing education, which will provide EHS managers with the skills necessary to affect systemic change within their organizations and move toward more comprehensive environmental compliance and leadership.
This state-of-the-art training center will offer high-quality courses through which EHS managers can become professionally certified, strengthen their technical knowledge, develop communication and leadership skills, and study practical implementation examples from leading companies.
By its third year we expect the Academy to be a financially self-reliant, independent Chinese organization attached to Lingnan College, Zhongshan University. It will train 1,800 participants and graduate 360 EHS managers annually. In addition, the Academy will house a core group of highly-qualified Chinese master trainers, adapt its curriculum to meet the changing needs of industry in Guangdong, and be a replicable model for adaptation in other provinces.
The August seminar will be the second "Train the Trainer" (ToT) activity offered by the Academy. In addition to exposing a group of experienced professionals to leading concepts and tools in the field of EHS, qualified trainees may be offered full-time and/or freelance trainer positions with the Academy.
ToT Information
The first ToT training costs will be covered by EHS Academy funds as:
1. Time: August 20 to 21, 2009;
2. Location: Zhongshan University;
3. Other expenses, including travel, learning materials, lodging and meals, will be covered by the trainees themselves;
4. At the end of the seminar, at its sole discretion, the EHS Academy will make employment or contract offers to qualified selected participants to become EHS Academy trainers (fulltime or freelance).
The ToT seminar will cover cutting edge topics in international EHS management used by leading Chinese and multinational corporations. The seminar will be focusing on a). Introduction: EHS as a Management System; b). Industrial Hygiene & best practice.
